THE CALGARY MILITARY HISTORICAL SOCIETY is a non-profit registered society which fosters the study of the military and police, the heritage of Canada, the British Empire and the world, and the preservation of military artifacts and records.

What can the CMHS offer?

	The CMHS provides a focal point for military enthusiasts to meet and exchange material and information, often with experts in many specific subjects;
	The CMHS provides personal contact with other interested people on an international scale that is not likely available to the general public;
	The CMHS provides access to reference and artifact sources not readily available to the general public;
	The CMHS provides a place for people of similiar interests to socialize in an informal setting.
